Dave's Septic

Septic pumping in Merrill typically costs between $300 and $600, depending on tank size, accessibility, and how long since the last pump. Dave's Septic can provide an exact quote for your specific situation.

For most homes in Merrill, septic tanks should be pumped every 3–5 years. Factors like household size, tank capacity, and water usage can shorten or extend this interval. Dave's Septic can recommend a schedule for your tank.

A professional septic inspection typically involves locating and opening the tank, checking the inlet and outlet baffles, measuring sludge and scum layers, and inspecting the distribution box and drain field. The inspector will provide a written report and recommendations. Dave's Septic can walk you through the process.

Common signs include slow drains throughout the house, gurgling sounds in pipes, sewage odors indoors or outdoors, wet or unusually green patches over the drain field, and sewage backup in toilets or drains. If you notice any of these, contact Dave's Septic promptly.

Signs of drain field failure include soggy or spongy ground over the leach field, lush green grass directly above the field (especially after dry weather), sewage odors near the drain field, and slow drains or backups in the house. Early intervention can prevent costly full replacement.
