Common signs include slow drains throughout the house, gurgling sounds in pipes, sewage odors indoors or outdoors, wet or unusually green patches over the drain field, and sewage backup in toilets or drains. If you notice any of these, contact Thompson Excavating promptly.

Signs of drain field failure include soggy or spongy ground over the leach field, lush green grass directly above the field (especially after dry weather), sewage odors near the drain field, and slow drains or backups in the house. Early intervention can prevent costly full replacement.
